Danielle Todd makes the most beautiful coffee cup cuffs. They are really unique and have a vintage feel.   Her

sewing is perfect and she had an eye for picking the best combinations of fabric; most of which is upcycled.

The box is really cute and the necklace is such  high quality and is done very tastefully.  Now I'm going to order one for my mom, mother in law, grandmother, sister, and any other special women in my children's life.  I think the do-it-yourself kit would be a great present for a new mom at her shower.

Day 8 Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read (Ends November 16th)

  

Hooked on Phonics is a well know and successful reading program.  I was lucky enough to review the program and I have to admit when I received the product it surpassed my expectations.  It has everything you need to start a reading program at home and it works.   As kindergarten teacher and a mom of two I know that teaching a child to read can be both rewarding and challenging.    

I started working on the program with my 3.5 year old right away.  When the baby is sleeping we get out the cards, the cd, and the book and go through the 20 minute lesson.  It and it has become really special time for just the two of us and she really enjoys  it.  After going through the first lesson she was able to read the at words.  (cat, rat, hat, etc).

Day 7 Name Your Tune CD (Ends November 16th)

As many of you know we are a musical household.  My husband, brother in law, and  father-in- law are musicians. We are also all teachers in the elementary and secondary systems and we understand the value of music exposure at an early age. We want to offer many varied and rich musical opportunities to our children.  I was really excited when I found out about Name Your Tune. Eleven Collection Shoe Giveaway

Recently I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to review a pair of shoes from the Eleven Collection. A sister company to See Kai Run, the Eleven Collection offers shoes in sizes 9-3 (age 3-8yrs). My daughter and I looked through all of the shoes and chose the Simone boot. I'm so glad we did because they are perfect. Premium suede and leather are used in the construction and similar to other Eleven Collection shoes they have a flexible rubber sole and a cushioned insole.

Eleven Collection shoes and boots are of exceptional quality, durability, and style. Shoe designers Cause Haun and Nancy Coronado collaborated to create a brand new collection, which retails from $48-60. An awesome price for shoes that are sure to make "hand me down" status.

As a mother and a Kindergarten teacher, I can really appreciate the zipper and velcro closures used in the shoes and boots. My three year old was able to put them on and take them off independently, which is a big bonus for this age group. I've been recommending them to all of the kindy parents. My little sweetie dances around in them all day and quite often asks to wear them to bed, attesting to the fact that the Simone is a lightweight, breathable, and comfy boot. I am a huge fan of the Eleven Collection! Rugged enough for toddlers and school aged children. Versatile enough to be worn with a casual or dressy outfit.

See Kai Run Review and Giveaway

See Kai Run is a small but rapidly growing company that has been getting a lot of media buzz and attention lately. As a matter of fact, Hale Berry’s daughter even wears them. Now I know why!

Recently, I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to review a pair of these shoes. I chose the Margo, which is a new addition to the Smaller line and is available in sizes 0 -24 months. They also have their signature See Kai Run shoes which have a flexible rubber sole and range in sizes 3-9.

These shoes are fabulous! Each pair is handcrafted and the materials used are of exceptional quality. $32 is a really good price for this level of shoe. My daughter is just starting to walk and these are perfect. The leather is so soft and the shoe is handcrafted. The suede bottom is sturdy, but movable, and there are two non-slip rubber pads.

At first I was concerned that my Houdini-like daughter might easily undo the Velcro closures. She examined them and did give them a try, but the Velcro is such high quality that she couldn’t get them off. This is the first pair of shoes that have stayed on her feet. After a thorough examination she forgot that she was wearing them, attesting to the fact that the Margo is a lightweight, breathable, and comfy trainer shoe.

Everything about this product, including the packaging is high quality. My toddler has been using the silver box to carry her toys! It’s the most popular “toy” in the house today. So in a sense they both got something.

Stylish, comfortable, and a great price. Customer service was awesome and shipping was lightning fast to Canada! Free shipping until August 28^th.
